Gina, a 12-year employee of the City of Rome and a Buyer in the Purchasing Department for the past five years, recently completed an intensive three-week certification program designed to strengthen foundational skills in public procurement.
The program focused on critical areas including strategy and policy, ethics and transparency, regulatory compliance, cost and value analysis, requirements planning, sourcing methods, contract evaluation, and negotiations — all essential components of effective public procurement.
